Hang-it, originally established as Rotar Washlines in 1971, has grown from a specialist in rotating washlines to a comprehensive manufacturer, supplier, and installer of various types of washlines.
With a significant change in 1992, Frik and Nelie Nel took the reins, steering the company into a new era as a family-run business. known for their commitment to quality and personalised service, Hang-it prides itself on being a part of each customer's home, offering a professional touch that integrates our products seamlessly into daily life.

Hang-it is not just a washline manufacturer but also a supplier and installer, ensuring that customers receive end-to-end service. Installation services are available in Johannesburg (JHB), Pretoria (PTA), and Vereeniging showing a strong presence in key urban arears. Our products have been manufactured for the DIY market making it easy to supply nationally - Nationwide reach is achieved through courier services to serve customers across South Africa despite geographical limitations.
Our product range includes:
• Rotating washlines: The original product that remains a staple in our line-up.
• Wall-mounted washlines: Thanks to our innovative WALL BRACKET, wall-mounted options became available for space-saving and convenience.
• Various other washline types and accessories: Catering to different needs and preferences, including foldable and retractable options.
We offer 4 STANDARD SIZES on the wall mounted folding washlines. But we are also able to accommodate the clients need by making custom brackets to fit any space, for example a balcony.
All our wall mounted washlines extend 1.2 meters away from the wall and differ in length.
